While going from the Sha Tin Station is just 10 minutes’ walk which a metro East Rail Line about 40 minutes from Central. There are very few signs to lead to the traveler to the monastery pathway. But it is often recommended for tracing Pai Tau Street to the northwest. The street generally bends to the left taking travelers past the Pai Tau ancestral hall which is a large white complex then turn right, finishing in a dead end.
At the end of the road, an unmarked pathway to the monastery begins. It includes the landmarks such as dodgy fence and overgrown weeds. The temple is free to open from 9am to 5:15 pm which allows a flow of slow stream of visitors in its way to visit the famous monastery.
